Excellent base for 4 nights with understanding and very-very nice staff on every shift.

the breakfast was free of charge and surprisingly good with quality hot coffee and the pool was heated. the staff was super-friendly and accommodating, great services. we walked everywhere, the location was good, close to everything.

This hotel is clean and excellent, with a perfect location for getting to the fairgrounds early and easy access to Moonlight Beach, various San Diego attractions, and plenty of restaurants.

I chose this hotel, with a little hesitation due to the bad reviews I saw on the site, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because the pictures looked just like what we wanted, and I am happy to report it was better than we thought, the room looks exactly like the picture and is even more comfortable, and the continental breakfast was delicious! The bacon no so good but the sausage was great! Lol We were able to relax and the spa was very nice! Great service, clean and comfortable, what else can you asks for! I think the people who left the other not so good reviews must be a little uptight, because I had none of those bad experiences! Our friends stayed at the Hilton down the street and they even wish they would have stayed at our hotel!

Nothing bad to say, had a great time, and there were no hidden charges!

Great location just a stone's throw away from the beaches, Cardiff, and downtown. Plus, the ocean views were amazing! 🌊 the room was top-notch with a comfy king-size bed that I absolutely loved.

This hotel is clean, has friendly staff at all hours, and is in an amazing location that's just a short walk from a charming Mexican restaurant.

Every time in Encinitas we stay in this hotel. In overall, the place is nicely designed, has extremely friendly staff on every shift. The rooms are brand-new and functional, equipped with multi-channel television, a microwave oven and a refrigerator. The price is US$ 84.

The room smelled. The tub was full of hair. They were vacuuming the lobby when we arrived and it was very loud and the filter must have been full cause it smelled musty and dusty. The food was inedible.

Good tv, w/ remote. Internet access, WIFI, A/C worked but really old. Lots of hot water, but slippery tub as it had been cleaned, but not rinsed.. . Room looks nice when you enter. but the quality is not there, Felt like a refurbished motel from the 60's.

Worst bed we've ever slept on, and the most lumpy little foam pillows ever. Avoid this one. Not up to 3-star quality in my book. Even the coffee pot dissapointed as it was dirty and full of grinds from the last guest. This is the first review I've ever stopped to write, because I was so let down by this one.

Furnishings and appointments are lovely but worn and need replacing, a deep cleaning would also help. The duvets are comfortable, but worn thin and sagging in areas where guests have sat. The sheets also bear signs of overuse. Carpets were filthy with permanent stains from previous guests. There were hairs on the nightstand, scrapes on the walls, dirt in the cracks of the floors and baseboards. The elevator smelled like spoiled milk. The hotel has undergone changes in corporate affiliations 2-3 times in the last 10 years, that I am aware of. Whether the owners or management has changed, I don't know; but the signs of neglect are clear.
